Shane Haste Announces Free Agency

Wrestler and former WWE Superstar Shane Haste announced his free agency in a new video. Haste was previously been under contract with NJPW after signing with the promotion in 2024.

After posting his initial video, Shane Haste later wrote, “I was prolly a little too cryptic with this post but ‘free agent’ sounded too fancy pants for me 🧐 Maybe I should have gone with ‘funemployed’ 😅”

During his New Japan tenure, haste became an NJPW STRONG Openweight tag team champion along with TMDK’s Mikey Nicholls. He last wrestled in NJPW at the Buy In pre-show for NJPW Battle In The Valley 2025. Haste has primarily been wrestling in the indies for the last year.
