Sid Vicious’ Son Says He’ll Be at WWE Hall of Fame, Will Not Give Acceptance Speech

The son of the late Sid Vicious has confirmed that he will be in attendance at the WWE Hall of Fame for his dad’s induction, but won’t give a speech. As announced late last month, Sid will be inducted in the 2026 Hall of Fame class as a Legacy induction. That left fans wondering if, being as WWE has not traditionally announced Legacy inductions with fanfare as solo announcements, a speech would be given as is done for “regular” inductions.
Gunnar Eudy clarified the matter on a post on Facebook. Gunnar was asked by a fan if he would be accepting the Hall of Fame ring for his father and wrote:
“there will be no acceptance speech because they are putting him in the legacy wing. We will just be in the crowd.”
Sid Vicious will be inducted alongside Stephanie McMahon, AJ Styles, Demolition, Bad News Brown (Legacy Induction), Dennis Rodman (Celebrity Induction), and Hulk Hogan vs. Andre The Giant from WrestleMania III (Immortal Moment).
