Stacks Retains International Championship at Countdown To TNA Genesis 2026

Stacks is still the TNA International Champion. The WWE NXT Superstar managed to retain his gold in a Fatal Four-Way match against Eric Young, BDE, and the returning KJ Orso at the Countdown Show ahead of TNA Genesis 2026.
The closing sequence of the match saw Eric Young take out KJ Orso with a Piledriver. However, before he could cover Orso for the pinfall, the opportunistic Stacks stormed to the ring and sent Young out of it. He instantly covered Orso to pick up the pinfall victory.
Following his victory, Stacks demanded that TNA President Carlos Silva put the International Championship on his shoulder.
Stacks’ reign now stands at 44 days, having won the championship from Steve Maclin at Final Resolution last month. He recently defended the title against Shiloh Hill on NXT.
Following his victory, Daria Rae accused Santino Marella of making irrational decisions, stating that Stacks has proved that he deserves to be here, and Marella grudgingly agreed.
