Former WWE Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer is reportedly set to return to weekly programming soon.
According to PWInsider Elite [via WrestlingNews.co], the expectation within WWE is for Vaquer to return to TV either during the road to Clash in Italy or at the May 31 premium live event at Inalpi Arena in Turin, Italy.
Notably, a previous report pointed toward La Primera returning to television on tonight’s episode of Monday Night RAW, which will take place in Greensboro, North Carolina. However, per PWInsider, Vaquer is not in town for the taping.
The report further added that creative conversations around the former world champion have picked up over the past week or so. However, the target is believed to have been moved ahead by approximately two weeks.
Stephanie Vaquer has been absent from WWE TV since the April 27, 2026, episode of Monday Night RAW. She was written off television following a backstage attack from Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez, with Liv Morgan also present at the scene. Later, Michael Cole announced that Vaquer had suffered a second-degree AC sprain, which multiple outlets reported as being a legitimate injury.
Vaquer lost the Women’s World Title to Liv Morgan at WrestleMania 42 Night One. According to Dave Meltzer, a rematch was supposed to take place at Backlash in Tampa before it was scrapped due to Stephanie’s injury.
