Stipulation Added To Women’s Title Match In Two Weeks On WWE NXT

Lola Vice will get her NXT Women’s Championship rematch against Kendal Grey in two weeks on WWE NXT in a very familiar stipulation to the challenger. It was announced on Tuesday night’s episode of WWE NXT that Vice will get her match with Grey for the Women’s Title on the August 4th episode of the show.

Vice, who won a #1 contenders match last week to earn the title shot, had a face-to-face with Grey in the ring. Grey said that she was happy to be facing Vice, who said she had worked too hard and for too long to step to the side for Grey. She gave Grey her respect but said she isn’t done yet.

Grey returned the respect, saying that Vice became everything people thought she would become before she came up against her. The two recounted their history and Vice said that Grey needs the title for validation. Grey countered that she is honest with herself and everyone, and that no one can beat her when she’s at her best.

Vice said that Grey can’t beat her in a fight and Grey said she liked where things were going. Vice then said their match would be under NXT Underground rules, which Grey agreed with.

Vice is undefeated in NXT Underground matches, having gone 4 – 0 with wins over Natalya, Shayna Baszler, Jaida Parker, and Kelani Jordan. Grey has yet to compete in NXT Underground. You can see a clip from the WWE NXT segment below.
