AEW star and World Trios Champion Swerve Strickland recently spoke to Don Chenz for a short interview. During the conversation, Strickland stated that a hip-hop artist he’d like to collaborate with is Tyler, The Creator.
Strickland commented, “Tyler, The Creator. I would collab with him on anything; it doesn’t even have to be music. Fashion. Yeah, let’s go.” Speaking on the rappers he thinks would name the best wrestlers, Strickland named the late DMX and “prime” Method Man.
Also, when asked about the greatest wrestling entrance of all time, Strickland said that Will Ospreay’s entrance at AEW All In: London “was pretty up there,” but he thinks Shawn Michaels’ zipline entrance at WrestleMania 12 is “untouchable.”
Swerve Strickland and The New Level (Kofi and Austin Creed) recently defended their World Trios Titles on the Rebel Heart edition of AEW Dynamite earlier this month, beating The Conglomeration (Kyle O’Reilly, Orange Cassidy & Roderick Strong).
