Tessa Blanchard Set To Face Starlight Kid in CMLL Later This Weekend

Following the recent issues with Tessa Blanchard being announced for her MLW debut, but later being pulled from the event and the MLW roster page, CMLL announced Blanchard for her next matchup later this month.

The CMLL show is taking place on September 12, the same date Blanchard was announced to be making her MLW debut at Fightland before being yanked from the show. Blanchard will face off against Starlight Kid in Mexico City later this week.

As noted, after MLW announced Blanchard’s debut, CMLL put out a statement last week stating that Blanchard was only set to appear at the one date for MLW and that “there is no deal between Tessa Blanchard, MLW, and CMLL besides this booking.”

CMLL is currently Blanchard’s home promotion. The Sept. 12 CMLL card is being held at the Arena Coliseo in Mexico City, Mexico.
