The Demand have acquired gold, winning the AEW World Trios Championships on this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite. Wednesday night’s episode saw Ricochet and GOA battle The Conglomeration for the latter’s World Trios Titles. The match saw the challengers pick up the win and walk away with the championships with help from The Lethal Twist.

The match went a little under 11 minutes and came to a head when late in the match, The Lethal Twist came out to distract the champions after they lost on the AEW Redemption Buy In pre-show. That allowed Ricochet an opening and he hit the Spirit Gun on Kyle O’Reilly, picking up the win and claiming the titles.

The Demand and Lethal Twist attacked the former champions after the match and Brody King came down for the save, but the numbers advantage was too much. Hangman Page then came down with a barbwire covered chair and made the save.

You can see clips from the AEW Dynamite match below. This marks the first Trios Championship reign for The Demand and the first title reigns for GOA in AEW; they were previously three-time ROH Six-Man Tag Team Champions with Brian Cage. Ricochet previously held the AEW National Championship.
