Former WWE Superstars and Tag Team Champions The Good Brothers (Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson) have added yet another title to their ranks. During yesterday’s 14th anniversary show for The Crash Lucha Libre, they defeated the teams of Legado Wagner (Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr. and Galeno del Mal) and Black Rebellions (D-Luxe and Pierroth Jr.) to win The Crash Tag Team Titles in an impromptu Triple Threat Match.
Today’s event was held at the Auditorio de Tijuana in Tijuana, Mexico. The event was streamed on YouTube (see below). The tag team title win takes place at around the two-and-a-half-hour mark.
Legado Wagner held the titles for 498 days. Before the matchup, they were originally planning to relinquish their titles after signing with “another company.” However, they were later convinced to defend the titles by Black Rebellion (h/t Fightful).
This marks The Good Brothers’ 11th title reign as a tag team. They previously held NJPW’s IWGP Heavyweight Tag Team Championships on three separate occasions. They also won the 2013 NJPW World Tag League Tournament.
In WWE, they won the Raw World Tag Team Titles twice. They also won the 2019 WWE Tag Team World Cup. They were also released by WWE for a second time earlier this year.
