The Rock Comments On Reaction to His PAC Tribute Video

The Rock says when it comes to wrestlers passing away like PAC, he doesn’t care about or see “competition” as a thing. The Final Boss, who is a member of the TKO board, posted a video to social media last week paying tribute to PAC following the AEW star’s sudden passing last Sunday. It was reported that the video caught some people in WWE who were “surprised” by the video, in which he said AEW “is growing into this phenomenal wrestling company” among other things, although it wasn’t something people were angry about.
Rock posted a comment on an Instagram video by Clutch Wrestling discussing the latter report. He wrote:
you’re right brother, and humanity matters to me. I was born into this business and I’ve seen it all, but when one of our own passes away, I don’t care nor do I see “our competition”, I care about the wrestlers and how it affects them. I’ve been there. To me, humanity matters most.”
AEW paid tribute to PAC with last week’s episode of AEW Dynamite.
