The Young Bucks overcame Kevin Knight and Kyle Fletcher at AEW WrestleDream 2026 to extend their reign as the AEW World Tag Team Champions.

The momentum shifted back and forth throughout the match, as both duos delivered high offense to exchange several near falls. At one point during the match, Matt Jackson hit The ProtoStar with a Mexican Destroyer off the back of their partners, prompting a ‘Holy Shit’ chant from the audience.

The challengers had the match won on several occasions, like when Knight hit a Coast-to-Coast dropkick on The Bucks, and Fletcher followed it up with a Brainbuster on Nick, or when Kyle hit a turnbuckle Brainbuster on Matt, and Knight followed it up with a UFO Splash.

The final stretch of the match saw Knight tag himself in, something Fletcher clearly didn’t approve of. Their miscommunication allowed The Bucks to regain the advantage. The finish came when Knight accidentally hit Fletcher with a Springboard Lariat. The Bucks responded with a BTE Trigger, and Matt pinned The Jet to secure the pinfall and retain the championship.

After the match, The Young Bucks celebrated on the ramp when Nick Jackson said on camera, “I don’t know how many of those I’ve left, Tony!”

This was Matt and Nick’s second title defense. They captured the title from Adam Copeland and Christian Cage in a three-way Ladder Match at All Out: Chicago last month.
