TNA Wrestling has confirmed the introduction of a new stipulation match for its women’s division this week. The announcement was made on the company’s official social media handles.
The first-ever Knockouts Bunkhouse Match will take place between Tessa Blanchard and Jody Threat on Thursday’s Impact. The duo has been feuding for a while now. The match type is usually described as a no-disqualification bout that allows weapons, although TNA has not fully outlined any specific rules. The official announcement read:
“.@T3SSABLANCHARD and @JodyThreat will face off in the first-ever Knockouts Bunkhouse Match in TNA history THURSDAY at 9/8c on @AMC_TV, @AMCPlus and TNA+, and 8pm ET on @Sportsnet 360. #TNAiMPACT”
TNA’s use of stipulation matches has been a recurring element in its ongoing rivalries or storylines.
