TNT Championship Match & More Set For Next Week’s AEW Collision

AEW has announced that the TNT Championship and CMLL World Championship will be on the line in separate matches on next week’s AEW Collision. As reported yesterday, Roderick Strong defeated Hechicero at CMLLL International Weekend and became the #1 contender to the CMLL World Title in the process. It was announced on last night’s Maximum Carnage episode of Collision that Strong will get his title shot against6 Claudio Castagnoli on next week’s episode.

In addition, a TNT Championship match between Mark Briscoe and El Clon is set for next week’s show. Briscoe challenged the Don Callis Family member to face him next week and vowed to put his TNT Championship on the line. The challenge came after El Clon joined his Don Callis Family stablemates Josh Alexander & Kyle Fletcher in defeating SkyFlight on the episode.

AEW Collision takes place next Saturday from Esports Stadium Arlington in Arlington, Texas. The show will air live on TNT and HBO Max. The current lineup is:

* CMLL World Heavyweight Championship Match: Claudio Castagnoli vs. Roderick Strong.
