Tom Brady Says He’s Waiting For a WWE Invite, Whether He’d Be Heel Or Babyface

Tom Brady says he’s open to an appearance in WWE, and just needs the invitation from Nick Khan. The NFL legend appeared on a live recording of What Do You Wanna Talk About? and during the conversation, he was asked by Cody Rhodes about whether he would have a big walkout song if he came into the company.

Brady, who was reportedly discussed for a WrestleMania 42 role that didn’t happen, said that he’s waiting for a storyline to get him involved but is into it. He also weighed in on what his alignment would be and why it’s an easy choice for him to be a heel. You can see highlights below:

On a Potential WWE Appearance:

“I need to get an invite. I mean, I’ve been waiting for like Nick Khan to come up with some storyline for me to get in the mix. I feel like I’m retired from football, have an opportunity to go out there. Still showcase I’m a little bit of an athlete. And you know, my boy Gronk’s done it; I’ve seen, obviously, Logan Paul do it, I think I could get in there for at least one match, right? Come on Nick! Come on, make it happen.”

On Whether He’d Be a Babyface Or Heel:

“It’s such an easy choice. I’m a bad guy. I’ve always been a bad guy! I mean, I feel like when our teams did really well, I would always go into these stadiums and I would feel that — obviously, at home it was great. But when you go on the road and you’ve had some success in the NFL, they don’t like you. And it’s an incredible feeling when you work that entire day to basically try to send the crowd home early. And it’s a great feeling when you go on the road with your 53 players, your coaches, to a visiting stadium where there’s 70,000 fans against you. And with three minutes left in the game, you look up in the stands and there’s 20,000 people left. And a lot of them are now rooting for you, and you realize, ‘Okay, job well done today.”
