AEW star Tommaso Ciampa appeared on Boston 25 News this week, speaking to Joe Chaisson about tonight’s AEW Dynamite at the MGM Musical Hall at Fenway set for later tonight. Below are some highlights:

Tommaso Ciampa on Getting To Do Shows in Boston

“I mean, Boston in the summer is the best. So anytime we get this opportunity, we usually bring the family and get to visit people. We come in early or stay late. On this one, we came in early. I love that part. I mean, just the fact that this job has somehow provided me the opportunity to travel the world, leave home, come back to home, perform in front of home, like it’s nothing better than that, man.”

On What Fans Can Expect From Tonight’s Show

“Dude, it’s unreal. The fact that we’re at MGM Music Hall right across from Fenway. Wednesday’s almost sold out. Thursday, some tickets available. Kenny Omega’s first time as world champ. He’s addressing the crowd, supposedly celebrating in my city. I’ll have my eyes on that. Wink wink. Hint hint. Uh, and I don’t know what’s in store exactly for me. I know Mercedes [Mone] has a six-woman trio match. I’ve been told that we’ll be doing something pretty special for the Boston crowd. I’m excited for that. The shirt farm shirts will be there in full attendance for Boston. It’s just going to be a good time, man. AEW live, pro wrestling live, it’s the best experience. It’s absolutely the best.”

Ciampa currently doesn’t have a match or segment scheduled for tonight’s AEW Dynamite. The show will air live on TBS starting at 8:00 pm ET. It will also be simulcast on HBO Max.
