Tommaso Ciampa Turns Heel on AEW Collision

Tommaso Ciampa shocked one and all on tonight’s AEW Collision, as he embraced the dark side by attacking Mark Briscoe.

The Psycho Killer was in action tonight, as he battled Death Riders member Daniel Garcia in a singles contest. Garcia picked up the win following an inadvertent interference from Briscoe, who was on commentary for the match.

Following his defeat, the former AEW TNT Champion confronted Briscoe, who asked him to chill out. This was followed by FTR (Cash Wheeler and Dax Harwood) coming to the ring and confronting Ciampa.

Briscoe returned to the ring to even the odds. The two headed to the ramp, where Tommaso Ciampa revealed his true colors, as he sent Briscoe crashing into the video screen before unleashing a barrage of punches to his head.

The former WWE Superstar followed it up with a vicious running knee strike as FTR watched on with smiles on their faces. For those unaware, Ciampa made his AEW in-ring debut against Mark Briscoe in January 2025. He defeated Briscoe to capture the TNT Title in his very first outing for the company. However, Tommaso’s reign lasted just 11 days, as he lost the belt to Kyle Fletcher on the go-home episode of Dynamite ahead of last month’s Grand Slam: Australia.
