Tony Khan says that AEW didn’t pull Mance Warner from tonight’s AAW show, despite a statement by the latter company. AAA Wrestling announced on Friday that Warner had been pulled from their Homecoming show set to take place tonight in Merrionette Park, Illinois. The promotion wrote on Twitter:
“Mance Warner will unfortunately NOT be appearing at #AAWHomecoming per AEW’s request,” they wrote on social media. “We are immediately restructuring the show accordingly and will announce updates as soon as possible.”
Khan then replied to the post and wrote:
“That’s the first that I’ve heard of this, and it’s the first time anyone in AEW’s office has heard of it. He is welcome to do your show.”
Warner has been appearing on ROH TV in recent weeks. He worked the ROH taping on Monday in Jacksonville, Florida.
AAW has not commented further on the matter since Khan’s post.
