Tony Schiavone Recalls Moment With PAC During His Match at AEW All Out 2026

During his What Happened When podcast, AEW broadcaster Tony Schiavone spoke about the unexpected passing of AEW star and former All-Atlantic Champion Benjamin Satterley, aka PAC. He recalled the last exchange he shared with PAC, which took place during AEW All Out 2026 one week ago, while PAC was wrestling Andrade El Idolo at the pay-per-view event.

Tony Schiavone revealed what PAC said to him during the match, when PAC was pulling himself up at the announce table. He explained (via WrestlingInc.com), “There was a spot or two in the Pac/Andrade match where they went on the outside, and I think Pac ended up pulling himself up at the table right in front of me, and he said under his breath, he said ‘Tony, what the hell are we doing here?'”

Schiavone continued, “And it was so f****** funny that it just…it just hit me as I’m talking about this match. I don’t know why it hit me, just thinking that man, that’s the last time he and I ever talked.”

AEW paid tribute to PAC earlier this week with a special tribute show on Dynamite.
