Triangle of Madness Retain Titles at STARDOM To The World

AEW stars the Triangle of Madness, including former AEW Women’s World Champion Thekla, were in action at today’s STARDOM To The World event (h/t Fightful). The show was held at the Yokohama Budokan in Yokohama, Japan. The trio successfully defended their Artist of Stardom Championship against the team of the Cosmic Angels (Natsupoi, Aya Sakura & Yuna Mizumori).

Triangle of Madness have been champs since July 18. They won the belts from Dream Trine at STARDOM 5 Star Grand Prix. Meanwhile, Thekla also appeared on AEW Dynamite this week, cutting a promo on Mercedes Mone.

Mercedes Mone then appeared and responded to Thekla’s comments from the stands. Thekla then turned her insults towards former AEW Women’s World Champion Willow Nightingale, who eventually made her way to the ring and chased Thekla away, and the two had some parting words.
