Trick Williams Picks Up First Main Roster Win On WWE Smackdown

Trick Williams is 1-0 on the WWE main roster, beating Rey Fenix in his WWE Smackdown in-ring debut on this week’s show. Friday night’s show saw the newly-christened Smackdown star work his first bout on the Smackdown brand, taking on Fenix in singles action.

The match came after Williams confronted Randy Orton in the opening segment, which ended with Orton having laid Williams out and then RKO’ing an attacking Miz. Fenix came down to the ring and he went just over 11 minutes with Williams. The match ended when Williams dodged a top rope dive by Fenix and countered into a modified Victory Roll while grabbing the tights for the pinfall.

The win marks Williams’ official in-ring main roster debut. He officially joined the WWE Smackdown roster on last week’s episode. You can see highlights from the match below.
