WWE Survivor Series: WarGames 2025 is officially in the books. Following the event, Chief Content Officer Triple H joined the panel for the post-show, where loud “Y2J” chants greeted him.

Chris Jericho is currently signed to All Elite Wrestling. However, he has been absent from the promotion since April 2025, and since then, there have been growing speculations that he will return to World Wrestling Entertainment once his contract with the Tony Khan-led company expires.

In the most recent edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, veteran journalist Dave Meltzer claimed that WWE has offered Y2J “a retirement storyline,” with sources close to the company noting that they would be interested in working with the former Undisputed Champion for the same. Meltzer further noted that WWE sources expect Jericho to return to the company in early 2026. That said, nothing is set in stone as of yet.

Recently, AEW President Tony Khan appeared on The Ariel Helwani Show, where he was asked to comment on Jericho’s current status with All Elite Wrestling. While Tony did not comment on the exact reasons behind The Demo God’s current hiatus, he did say that he would love to have Jericho remain with AEW.

It will be interesting to see if Chris Jericho eventually makes his way to WWE once his deal with AEW comes to an end.
