Tucker Knight Says He & Otis Pitched Name Change to ‘Tank & Dozer’ On WWE Main Roster

Tucker Knight says that he and Otis pitched a name change when for themselves they were called to the WWE main roster in 2019. Knight, aka Levi Cooper, was the tag team partner of Otis in Heavy Machinery. The two were a tag team during their time in WWE NXT, but were split from each other in the 2020 WWE Draft as Otis went on to higher pursuits including a brief run with the Money in the Bank briefcase after winning the 2020 iteration of the event.
Knight did a virtual signing for K&S WrestleFest and was asked about the team of Hank & Tank in NXT. He noted that he and Otis wanted to be called Tank and Dozer when they went up to the main roster, but it was shot down.
“We actually tried to pitch — when we went up — to change our names to Tank and Dozer, Heavy Machinery, and it got rejected,” he said (per Fightful). Which was a bummer… would have been good, right? They took our last names from us anyways. Tank and Dozer’s much better than Tucker and Otis, for Heavy Machinery names I think.”
Knight turned on Otis after their split and was released from WWE in 2021.
