Update On AEW Status Of Max Caster

Max Caster hasn’t been seen in AEW in quite some time, and a new report has a bit of an update on his status there. Caster last competed for AEW on the December 17th, 2025 episode of AEW Dynamite as part of the Dynamite Diamond Battle Royal, which was won by Bandido and Ricochet. He hasn’t been on TV since then.

According to Sunday morning’s Fightful Select Answers Q&A, Caster is still under AEW contract but hasn’t been backstage “much if at all” as of late and is not factored into any creative plans. Caster’s last storyline in AEW saw him and Anthony Bowens reunite as The Acclaimed, but that mini-story died out and Bowens is now part of The Opps.

Caster, who is a former AEW World Tag Team Champion and AEW World Trios Champion, is working regularly on the independent scene in the Northeatern United States. He most recently competed at Wrestling Open RI on July 6th, where he faced off against Bobby Orlando in singles action.

There is no word as of now when or if Max Caster will be showing up on AEW TV anytime soon.
