Anthony Bowens and Max Caster’s AEW contracts are reportedly coming up soon, and a new report as an update (or lack of update) on the matter. It was reported earlier this month that the former Acclaimed members’ contract were set to expire at the start of the month and that negotiations had yet to begin. According to Fightful Select, sources in the company indicated that there have not yet been negotiations regarding a new deal. There has also not been word on whether new deals will be offered or not.
Bowens has been on AEW TV as a member of The Opps and competed at AEW All In, but not otherwise since July. Caster has worked some independent dates throughout 2026 but hasn’t had a match in AEW since being part of the Dynamite Diamond Ring Battle Royal at the Holiday Bash episode of AEW Dynamite on December 17th of last year.
It was reported in late August that WWE had some level of interest in Bowens. Bowens and Caster are former AEW World Tag Team Champions and Trios Champions during their run together as The Acclaimed, and had a brief reunion as a team in 2025.
