Update On Steve Maclin Following TNA Sacrifice Injury
A new report has a bit of an update on Steve Maclin after he appeared to suffer an injury at the start of his World Title match at TNA Sacrifice. As noted, Maclin was facing Mike Santana for the World Championship on Friday’s TNA+ event. The match was topped when Maclin took a superkick shortly after the start and was knocked down. He was helped to the back and Eddie Edwards came out to give the audience something after the match was stopped, and Santana took Edwards out.
It almost goes without saying that the injury is legitimate and not a work. PWInsider has confirmed that and notes that the early belief is that Maclin may have suffered a concussion. However, that is not yet confirmed and Maclin was still being checked out backstage. The report cites sources as saying Maclin was coherent but clearly upset over what went down.
No word as to whether Maclin will miss any time. On behalf of 411, our best wishes to Steve Maclin.
