WrestleMania 43 has been announced for Saudi Arabia, and a new report says that the country is still the intended host. As you likely know, WWE announced that next year’s WrestleMania would take place in Saudi Arabia. That announcement was made in September, but things have become complicated in the region as the US and Israeli war with Iran continues.
While there has been some speculation that WWE may not ultimately host the show there, Wrestlevotes Radio on Fightful Select reports that as of now, this is still the plan. The outlet reports that there are a couple of potential dates, namely March 27th — the final weekend of Riyadh Seaosn — and April 10th.
The report notes that while a one-time shift to a single night event is not off the table, it is unlikely as sources told Sean Ross Sapp that ESPN prefers that WrestleMania be a two-night event.
WWE has yet to officially confirm a specific date for the PLE. It was announced on Thursday thst WWE Night of Champions will be held in Riyadh on June 27th.
