Update on Sol Ruca Following WWE NXT Main Event

Sol Ruca took a nasty bump in the closing moments of this week’s WWE NXT, and a new report notes what happened after the show went off air. As noted, Zaria defeated Ruca in a Last Woman Standing match that ended when Zaria shoved Ruca off the raised podium into a table below, and Ruca was unable to answer the count. There were two tables set up but Ruca only went through one, and she appeared to hit her head on the other one.

According to PWInsider, Zaria came down after the cameras went off and stepped over Ruca on her way to the back. Referees and medical staff tended to Ruca, who appeared to have cut the back of her head. She was able to make her way to the back on her feet and threw up her hand signs to the fans in attendance as she headed backstage.

No word as of yet on if she suffered any kind of severe injury from the bump. Ruca made her WWE Raw debut on Monday’s show, taking on Liv Morgan in a non-title match that she lost after Zaria got involved.
