UPDATE: Dolph Ziggler posted the following on his Twitter…
“Last night was a success! Kent State won the MAC Conference & I won the World Heavyweight Championship! Best Dolph Ziggler Day EVER! ;)”
ORIGINAL: WWE.com seems to be teasing a controversy surrounding who is the rightful holder of the World Heavyweight Title after the ending to last night’s Edge / Dolph Ziggler match on Smackdown, which involved Green Bay Packer Clay Matthews made the three-count, despite Vickie Guerrero being assigned to ref the match.
The site says, “However, the outcome of SmackDown’s main event became unclear when the injured Guerrero waved-off The Rated-R Superstar win. Who is the rightful holder of the World Title?”
