Various News: CM Punk to Star in New Horror Film, AJ Lee Shares Pic from Rabid Filming

– CM Punk has picked up a lead role in a new horror film, tentatively titled Team Player. PWInsider reports that Punk will star in the film will film over the next few months in Illinois.

Details on the film are not yet available.

– In related news, April Mendez-Brooks (AJ Lee) posted the following pic from the set of Rabid. Mendez-Brooks and Punk are both appearing in the film, which is directed by the Soska Sisters (American Mary, See No Evil 2) and is a remake of the 1977 David Cronenberg film. Laura Vandervoort is playing the lead role. Mendez-Brooks plays a character named Kira, with Punk playing Billy.
