War Raiders Take Aim At WWE Tag Team Titles On WWE Smackdown

The War Raiders are looking to add some gold to their collection, declaring their intent to chase the WWE Tag Team Championships on WWE Smackdown. Friday night’s episode saw the AAA World Tag Team Champions appear in a backstage segment with R-Truth, stating they intend to target Truth and Damian Priest’s titles.

The segment saw Priest and Truth arguing over a moment earlier in the night, when Truth came down to try and save Royce Keys from a post-match beatdown by the MFTs. Priest had shown up and prevented Truth from getting involved. The two talked about the matter backstage, with Truth saying that they should have helped Keys out but Priest saying he didn’t trust Keys and was focused on King of the Ring.

Truth then said his brother was a doctor (of Thuganomics) and an exasperated Priest walked off. The War Raiders then showed up and said that they wanted a shot at the WWE Tag Team Championships. Truth said he didn’t know who they are and walked off.

The War Raiders won the AAA World Tag Team Championships from Pegano and Psycho Clown at AAA Noche de Los Grandes. No word as of yet when or if the War Raiders will get a WWE Tag Team Title shot.
