Will Ospreay heaps praise on fellow AEW star Skye Blue.
Apart from being a contracted AEW talent, Ospreay works as a producer and a member of the creative team for independent British wrestling promotion Pro Wrestling: EVE.
Skye Blue was in action at Friday’s EVE 151: Beers, Brawls & Burlesque event, battling Emersyn Jayne. Blue emerged victorious in a match that went just over 18 minutes.
After her victory, Blue, with blood smattering on her face, cut a passionate promo that received a positive reaction from the crowd.
Earlier today, a fan posted a clip of the same on social media and noted that they had never seen Skye being so comfortable on the microphone previously. Ospreay took notice of the post and shared that Skye Blue has been putting in a lot of work behind the scenes to hone her craft, hoping for more people to start noticing it.
He wrote:
“Quietly @Skyebyee has been putting in a lot of work into her game and the improvements she’s been making is a testament to her. Hopefully more people will take note of effort she is putting into the craft. Glad to host her again at @ProWrestlingEVE.”

Blue’s most recent match on AEW programming was at last weekend’s Forbidden Door pay-per-view, where she failed to beat Maika in a Survival of the Fittest Qualifying bout.
