Women’s Title Rematch Made Official For Clash In Italy On WWE Smackdown

It’s official: Jade Cargill will get a rematch against Rhea Ripley for the WWE Women’s Championship at Clash In Italy, as confirmed on WWE Smackdown. Ripley opened up Friday night’s episode with an in-ring promo, during which she confirmed that she would accept a rematch with Cargill for the PLE after Cargill attacked Ripley last week.

After Ripley agreed to defend the title against Cargill, Cgarlotte Bliss and Alexa Bliss came out and they had a little tension ahead of their six-woman tag team match against Cargill, B-Fan, and Michin tomorrow at Saturday Night’s Main Event. Fatal Influence then showed up and a match was set with Bliss and Flair to face two of the Fatal Influence trio.

WWE Clash In Italy takes place on May 31st at Inalpi Arena in Turin, Italy. The show airs live on ESPN Unlimited in the US and Netflix internationally.
