Wren Sinclair Wins Shot at Women’s Title In WWE NXT Battle Royale

Wren Sinclair played a classic card to sneak her way into an Women’s Championship match by way of a battle royale won on this week’s WWE NXT. Sinclair won a #1 contenders battle royale to determine Kelani Jordan’s opponent for NXT Halloween Havoc in the main event of Tuesday night’s show.

Sinclair was not announced as part of the match initially. The apparent final four were Kiana James, Lizzy Rain, La Catalina, and Kali Armstrong. Armstrong eliminated the three others to seemingly win, but AAA star Lady Shani returned to the match. Shani had been powerslammed by an angry Reina Volcan after the latter’s elimination and had been pulled out of the ring below the ropes.

Shani came up behind Armstrong and eliminated her to win the match. She then unmasked to reveal that it was actually Sinclair, to Jordan’s disdain.

You can see clips from the WWE NXT match below. NXT Halloween Havoc will take place on October 31st live on The CW and ESPN Unlimited, and on Netflix internationally.
