WWE 2K26 Trailer Highlights CM Punk in 2K Showcase Mode

As previously reported, WWE 2K26 will feature CM Punk as the featured Superstar in this year’s 2K Showcase mode. 2K Games has now released a new gameplay highlighting this year’s 2K Showcase: Punked, which you can view in the player below.

In Punked, players will step into the boots of the most influential Supersstars in WWE history, showcasing authentic career milestones, alternate-history twists, and fantasy “What If?” match scenarios.

The Punked mode will span Punk’s entire WWE career, as players will relive the wrestler’s most iconic matches, taking him back against Randy Orton at WrestleMania 27, The Undertaker at WrestleMania 29, Drew McIntyre at Bad Blood 2024, and more. The entire gameplay mode will be accompanied by candid commentary from Punk and behind-the-scenes insight.

Punked will also explore what if CM Punk never left WWE in 2014, and what if certain rivalries had different outcomes? The 2K Showcase also gives players the ability to revisit pivotal moments and change history to explore how Punk’s career might have unfolded differently. One such match sees two married WWE couples go toe-to-toe, as CM Punk & AJ Lee take on The Miz & Maryse, with 2K Games planning to reveal more alternate history matches soon.

The CM Punk-featured gameplay mode for WWE 2K26 also features Fantasy Warfare, where players can compete against Superstars Punk never got the chance to face in a WWE ring, including “Stone Cold” Steve Austin, Eddie Guerrero, and more. There will also be an all-new, original arena, the CM Punkvillion, which serves as the backdrop for the fantasy matchups.

WWE 2K26 arrives in its Standard Edition release on Friday, March 13. It will also be available in the King of Kings Edition, Attitude Era Edition, and Monday Night War Edition, which will be released worldwide on Friday, March 6, 2026.
