WWE & AAA Tag Team Titles Match Agreed To On WWE Smackdown

Damian Priest and R-Truth are set for a future title vs. title match with the War Raiders, as set up on WWE Smackdown. Friday’s episode of Smackdown saw the War Raiders lay out a title vs. title challenge to Priest and Truth during a backstage segment. Priest and Truth agreed to the match but were unable to make it official due to Nick Aldis being on indefinite leave.

Priest and Truth are the current WWE Tag Team Champions, and have been for 106 days. They defeated Solo Sikoa and Tama Tonga for the titles on the March 20th episode of WWE Smackdown.

Meanwhile, The War Raiders have held the AAA World Tag Team Championships for 35 days. They captured the titles from Psycho Clown and Pagano at AAA Noche de Los Grandes on May 30th.
