WWE Alumnus Gable Steveson Signs With UFC

Gable Steveson has signed a deal to fight in the UFC, with his first bout eyed for this summer. It was announced on UFC 327 this past Saturday that the former WWE roster member and U.S. Olympic gold medalist has signed a deal with the company, as reported by ESPN.

Steveson was of course part of WWE. He was released from the company in May of 2024 and has since gone on to try his hand briefly at pro football before making his MMA debut at LFA 217 in September of last year. He is 3 – 0 in professional MMA.

Steveson also signed a multi-match deal with American Freestyle in March, and will make his debut at RAF 9.

ESPN reports that Steveson is expected to make his UFC debut during the company’s International Fight Week show in July, which will take place in Las Vegas. He won a gold medal at the Tokyo Olympics in 2020. In addition to his LFA 217 fight, he picked up wins at Anthony Pettis FC 21 in November of last year and Mexico Fight League 3 on February 19th of this year.
