Backstage Note on WWE’s Frequent Bayley Mentions on Raw

Bayley’s frequent mentions on the latest episode of WWE Raw could indicate that WWE expects her to return, according to Dave Meltzer. She has not appeared on television since losing to Lyra Valkyria at Saturday Night’s Main Event.

Meanwhile, Valkyria has continued referencing their rivalry despite her absence. On Raw, she previously claimed that she had run Bayley out of WWE. In reality, The Role Model has reportedly yet to agree to a new deal with WWE.

Dave Meltzer discussed Bayley’s status in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter. He pointed out that WWE continues to reference her despite her current absence from television, which, to him, indicates they “expect her back.” He added that WWE likely would not continue to mention Bayley if they believed she could leave the company.

Amid her absence from WWE TV, Bayley uploaded a training video with her friend and former WWE Superstar Mercedes Moné. The video, which alludes to AEW All In, reportedly did not sit well with many people backstage.
