WWE has discussed the possibility of bringing Killer Kross back into the company, according to a new report. Fightful Select reports that Kross, who was relased from WWE alongside Scarlett Bordeaux back in November during a round of cuts, has been discussed as a potential name of interest to bring back in.

According to the report, several people in the industry expect Kross to return to WWE, and one source said they believed it’s already in the company’s plans. It is important to note that while Fightful has confirmed his name has been discussed by WWE, they were explicit that there is no confirmation that the company has decided to do so.

Kross has been working in MLW and NJPW since he was released and was booked for ROH Supercard of Honor, though that fell through in the transition when Tony Khan bought the company. During his time in WWE as Karrion Kross, he was an NXT Champion and was brought up to the main roster, but without Bordeaux at his side and in a “gladiator”-type outfit that was roundly criticized.

There’s no word on whether Scarlett has been discussed as well, and Kross has not responded to Fightful’s request for comment.
