April 9, 2016 | Posted by
– NXT Takeover: Dallas at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Center in Dallas was sold out with 9,000 in attendance. Meanwhile, the 2016 WWE Hall of Fame ceremony from the American Airlines Center was sold out with 11,000 people attending.
– WWE officials met with the chief editor of Match TV, which is the only major sports channel in Russia. The meeting happened in Dallas at Wrestlemania 32. It appears as though the two are negotiating some sort of deal, but nothing has been signed yet. WWE only has one-hour versions of RAW and Smackdown on the 2×2 channel, which is only available to 2% of the country’s population. 50% have access to Match TV.
