WWE NXT Set to Stream on ESPN Unlimited as The CW Joins Hands With Sports Broadcasting Giant

WWE NXT is headed to the ESPN app as The CW Network finally lands a streaming partner for its sports content.

On April 29, 2026, ESPN and The CW Network announced that ESPN Unlimited will be the new home of CW Sports, including WWE NXT.

According to the deal, more than 800 hours of CW’s premium sports content will stream live on ESPN Unlimited. This includes the NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series, ACC, Pac-12, Mountain West college football and basketball, AVP volleyball, the 2026 Arizona Bowl, PBR Bull Riding, and NXT.

As previously noted, WWE and The CW announced on Tuesday, April 28, that NXT Premium Live Events will stream on The CW Network moving forward, starting with this summer’s Great American Bash.

Emily Horowitz, ESPN’s DTC Strategy Vice President, said (via Variety):

“We think this is a real value add for our Unlimited subscribers. Adding more content “makes that product as attractive as we possibly can.”

“We were hunting for a streaming solution, and the thing that we knew was that the world doesn’t need another direct-to-consumer product. We decided our strategy was not going to be adding to that challenge for people and that we were going to partner with somebody to do it. If you’re going to find a partner for sports, the worldwide leader in sports is a pretty good one to go with,” he told TheWrap.

Notably, WWE’s main roster PLEs currently stream on ESPN Unlimited domestically.
