WWE Planning Another Starrcade Network Special for November
– During today’s edition of The Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer stated that WWE is planning another Starrcade event that will be available as a WWE Network special event. For the past two years, WWE has held Starrcade-themed events in November. Last year’s WWE Starrcade was held Cincinnati, Ohio. However, unlike the 2017 event, several of the matches from last year were shown as a WWE Network special.
According to Meltzer, the event is expected to be held on Saturday, November 30 at the Infinite Energy Center in Duluth, Georgia, and the arena is said to be already booked. Additionally, he said he was told by WWE that the company will be announcing the event “very soon.” Since tonight’s edition of Smackdown Live is being held at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia, it seems that could be when WWE likely announces the next event for the area for November with Starrcade.
