Showbuzz Daily has the overnight ratings for last night’s WWE SmackDown broadcast on FOX. Last night’s show averaged 2.157 million viewers. That’s based off of 2.147 million viewers for Hour 1 and 2.166 million viewers for Hour 2. Overall, numbers were up across the board from the overnights and final numbers for last week’s show.

For this week’s SmackDown, it was a special-themed “Throwback” episode. The overnight viewership of 2.156 million increased from last week’s final audience of 2.018 million viewers. For comparison, the overnight audience for last week’s broadcast was 1.932 million viewers. So, the overnight number this week saw a decent increase from the final. When the final numbers come out early next week, that means the final viewing audience will likely be larger than today’s numbers, so the WWE SmackDown audience will probably have a bit of a boost.

In the P18-49 key ratings demo, SmackDown averaged a 0.6 rating. That’s up from the final 0.54 rating in the key demo for the April 30 episode. It’s also up from the overnight rating, which was 0.5. Last week, SmackDown tied for first place in the key demo with the NFL Draft.

More good news is that SmackDown took first place in the key demo for Friday night, even surpassing ABC’s Shark Tank, which came in second with a 0.5 rating.

Blue Bloods on CBS topped the network primetime viewership for the evening with 5.667 million viewers.
