Last week’s pre-SummerSlam episode of WWE Smackdown jumped in ratings and audience to its highest point in nearly four months. Friday’s show scored a 0.31 rating in the 18 – 49 demographic and 1.379 million viewers per Wrestlenomics. Those numbers were up 34.8% and 10.0% respectively from the previous week’s 0.23 demo rating and audience of 1.253 million.

The demo rating was the highest for the show since the April 24th episode had a 0.32. Meanwhile, the total audience was the best since the April 17th episode had 1.58 million. However, the total audience was the best since the May 22nd episode had 1.256 million viewers. Details on other ratings aren’t yet available, so no word on what topped the night.

As a reminder, Nielsen made an adjustment to its Big Data + Panel numbers in late January, and even the original Big Data + Panel ratings makes ratings difficult to compare to pre-change weeks. That said, WWE Smackdown is currently averaging a 0.281 demo rating and 1.229 million viewers in 2026 compared to a 0.434 and 1.498 million for the same time period in 2025.
