WWE Tribute to the Troops Viewership & Ratings Down From Last Year’s Special

– Wrestlenomics has the television numbers for last Saturday’s WWE Tribute to the Troops show. The FOX Network broadcast aired in the afternoon and averaged 612,000 viewers. This is down from the audience for last year’s special, which drew 2.030 million viewers.
In the P18-49 key demo, the drew a 0.17 rating (220,000 viewers). This is said to be the lowest drawing viewership for Tribute to the Troops since it debuted in 2003. This marked the 20th anniversary of the special. The key demo rating for last year was 0.51.
The WWE Tribute to the Troops special aired on the FOX Network last year on a Sunday at a 5:00 pm EST start time. By comparison, this year’s special had about a third of the audience from last year. Last year’s show also had an NFL lead-in.
This year’s special was taped on November 17 in Indianapolis.
