Netflix Unveils Trailer for WWE: Unreal Season Two

The second season of WWE: Unreal is set to return on Tuesday, January 20, and Netflix has released a new trailer to hype it up.

The five-episode behind-the-scenes docuseries will cover key topics from 2025, such as Seth Rollins’ “Ruse of the Century” at SummerSlam, where he shockingly cashed in his Money in the Bank contract and dethroned CM Punk as World Heavyweight Champion after faking a knee injury for several weeks leading into the event. The series will also highlight R-Truth’s short-lived departure from the company and his eventual return at Money in the Bank.

The beginning of the trailer features legendary manager Paul Heyman, who gives his honest views on WWE Unreal. The WWE Hall of Famer said that he is not a fan of the concept, as he grew up in an era where maintaining the “secrecy” of the business was a top priority.

“Sorry to disappoint everyone, but I’m not a big fan of this show. I grew up in an era where you defended the secrecy of this business. That’s how we earn our living,” Heyman said.

Apart from this, Pat McAfee’s match against two-time World Heavyweight Champion Gunther at Backlash and Jelly Roll’s in-ring debut at SummerSlam, where he teamed up with Randy Orton to take on Drew McIntyre and Logan Paul, are also set to be addressed in the second season of WWE: Unreal. The trailer also indicates that Naomi will address the circumstances that led to her and Sasha Banks (AEW’s Mercedes Mone) walking out of the company in May 2022. Each episode is set to be 50 minutes long.

WWE Unreal Season One featured top WWE stars such as Cody Rhodes, John Cena, Rhea Ripley, Chelsea Green, and Becky Lynch and looked at the build-up to WrestleMania.
