WWE has announced that suspended Wren Sinclair will appear on the October 13 episode of NXT following her surprise victory in last week’s 20-woman Battle Royal.
NXT General Manager Robert Stone suspended her on the September 8 episode of NXT, where she attacked NXT Women’s Champion Kelani Jordan and accidentally hit the referee. However, Sinclair sneaked into the October 6 match disguised as AAA’s Lady Shani.
She won the Battle Royal, then removed her mask to reveal her identity. The victory earned her a chance to challenge for the NXT Women’s Championship. Stone will also appear tonight to address Sinclair as he reshared the announcement on X.
“Following last week’s WILD ending to the Battle Royal, @WrenSinclairWWE will appear live TONIGHT on #WWENXT! 📺 8 ET/7 CT on @TheCW.”
The October 13 episode of NXT will feature additional matches, including a number-one contender’s bout between Myles Borne and Tony D’Angelo, with the winner earning a shot at the NXT Championship.
The Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic will also continue with two first-round matches. Vanity Project’s Brad Baylor and Ricky Smokes will face Mini Vikingo and Chazz ‘Starboy’ Hall. Noam Dar and Romeo Moreno will take on Fraxiom’s Nathan Frazer and Axiom in the other match.
Saquon Shugars is also scheduled to face Tristan Angels. The October 13 episode will air at 8 PM Eastern and 7 PM Central on The CW.
