Xavier Woods is out of action with a shoulder injury, but he says that he hopes to be back within a few weeks. As noted, Kofi Kingston announced during a commercial break on last week’s Raw that Woods was taking time off for a shoulder injury that he’s been dealing with. Kingston noted that the injury was one that Woods has been dealing with “bravely for the better part of three months now.” It was not noted at the time how severe the injury is or how long he would be out.
Woods was at the WWE 2K26 Creator Fest and spoke with WrestleZone’s Bill Pritchard. Woods noted that he’s feeling good about the injury and hoped to be back soon. You can see some highlights below:
On How the Shoulder Feels:
“I feel ok. Lifting things with my shoulder doesn’t feel ok. I kind of put it through like a meat grinder, so we’ll see how it is.”
On a Potential Return Timeframe:
“Hopefully, it’s a few weeks of physical therapy, and then we’ll be back at it. But if not, I will let everybody know. But yeah, it’s alright. We’re just staying positive.”
Woods most recently competed alongside Kingston on the January 26th episode of Raw in a Fatal Four-Way tag team match for the #1 contendership to the World Tag Team Titles against Otis and Akira Tozawa, the Creed Brothers and Los Americanos.
