Zaria Thinks She’s ‘Absolutely’ Ready for the Main WWE Roster

During a recent appearance on Busted Open After Dark, WWE NXT Women’s North American Champion Zaria discussed whether she’s ready for the main WWE roster, the NXT women’s division outperforming the men’s division, and more. Below are some highlights (via Fightful):

Zaria on NXT’s Women’s Division Outperforming the Men’s Division

“I think what we really do well is we do put in the work. I think others could maybe work a little bit harder, and not be given all these opportunities but, we do put in the work. If you step into the Performance Center, and you saw all the women training every single day, and then you looked at the men training every single day, I’m guaranteeing you right now, we’re sweating bullets more than those boys ever could. We get pushed as far as we can to our limits. But also, I think we’re not afraid to tap into our emotions so when it comes to feeling all of those emotions in a match, we allow the people to connect to us a little bit more than the guys because I understand, being a guy, you kind of always tap into every single emotion that you can but for us women, we’ll tap into that instantly and I think that’s the thing people gravitate towards…”

On Whether She Thinks She’s Ready for the Main WWE Roster

“Yes, absolutely I am. I mean, you know, I gotta do something about this (NXT Women’s North American Title). But I’m absolutely ready. More than ready.”

Zaria is slated to face off against Wren Sinclair at WWE NXT Heatwave in a Unification Match for the NXT Women’s North American and the WWE Speed Women’s Championships. The premium live event takes place on Sunday, August 30.

NXT Heatwave 2026 will be held at Bert Ogden Arena in Edinburg, Texas. It will be broadcast live on The CW and the ESPN App for Unlimited subscribers.
