Zayda Steel may not have won her debut match on AEW TV, but she came out of the bout All Elite as she’s now signed with the company. Last night’s show saw Steel make her AEW TV debut, losing to Marina Shafir in a quick match. After the bout, Tony Khan posted to Twitter to announce that Steel was All Elite.

Khan wrote:

“She put up a great fight in her AEW debut match on #AEWCollision tonight, and now it’s official:

@ZaydaSteel is All Elite!”

Steel made her first appearance on AEW Collision last week when she confronted Shafir after SkyFlight lost to The Death Riders. Megan Bayne attacked Steel during the confrontation and took her out with the running Ligerbomb.

Zayda Steel was previously signed to a WWE ID deal, but chose not to renew it in October. She made her ROH debut in December and confronted Leila Grey. Steel lost to Grey at ROH Final Battle that month and then defeated Rachael Ellering the next week.

No word as of yet on the length of Steel’s contract with AEW. Steel wrote on Twitter after the announcement of her signing:

“Y’all saw the fight. Now you’re gonna see the rise. All Elite.”
