Amanda Nunes Ready To Go Five Rounds Against Valentina Shevchenko

In an interview with MMA Junkie, UFC women’s bantamweight champion Amanda Nunes said that she’s willing to go the distance against Valentina Shevchenko at UFC 213. The fight happens this Saturday on PPV from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Here are highlights:

On if Nunes can go more than one round: “I’m ready for five rounds. She can say all those things about my condition and stuff, but I’m ready. I have to prove it Saturday, and I will, and everything will be done. I’m going for the finish. The first, the second, the third, the fourth, the fifth – I will be ready.”

On appreciating where she’s at: “It’s been amazing for me. My dreams have come true, and I’m just enjoying every single day. Once again I’m back in Vegas. It’s going to be amazing, for sure.”
